Letter from the President

As the final rounds of football are upon us I am sure most of you are counting the days until baseball officially begins.  I attended the ABCA Barnstormer clinic at DBU last Saturday and got a little baseball fix to hold me over until the GWTBCA clinic on December 11 and our state convention in Waco in January.  If you have never attended an ABCA Barnstormer event then I strongly suggest it in the future.  The ABCA does a great job of bringing in great coaches at these events and the host schools do a great job of putting on the one day clinics.  The line up we have in store for the GWTBCA clinic is a good one.  Justin Phillips has done a great job in securing several good coaches to speak at our winter clinic.  There will be breakfast burritos supplied by our local Coaches Outreach chapter, with great help from John Dudley,  and Lubbock Sports Authority will sponsor our lunch from Fuddruckers.  There will be door prizes and maybe a raffle.  

So Please pass the word to your local school coaches and this year we are opening our doors to local little league or select coaches to join us too.  If you need more info, you can go to our new revamped website.

As the Thanksgiving and Christmas season is also upon us, I just want to say how thankful I am to a gracious God that has blessed me and has put me right where I am supposed to be at this time.  I know I am truly blessed and am very thankful for the great game of baseball.
